Ocean Energy LLC - Viable and Efficient Ocean Wave Energy Technology

Ocean wave energy, a massive untapped source of energy, is on the horizon.

A recent report released by the U.S. Department of Energy states,

"The total available wave along the U.S. shelf edge, based on accumulating unit circle wave power densities, is estimated to be 2,640 TWh/yr, broken down as follows:

590 TWh/yr for the West Coast
240 TWh/yr for the East Coast
80 TWh/yr for the Gulf of Mexico
1570 TWh/yr for Alaska
130 TWh/yr for Hawaii
and 30 TWh/yr for Puerto Rico."

Until now, wave has not been efficient enough to be an economically viable investment.

Current ocean wave energy technology has been largely inadequate for several reasons.

Size limitations, low efficiency ratios, overly complex designs and an inability to naturally adjust to changing ocean and wave conditions are some of those reasons.

Progress Update:

We have recently designed, built and successfuly tested a small scale prototype. The results have been validated by an independent engineer.
